Not by default. We look for the opening first. A full replacement is recommended only when the covering, underlayment, or deck is too far gone for a local repair.

If I could give Ernie 10 stars, I absolutely would!! I messaged him at 11pm on a Friday night after my A/C went out on me in this insane heat wave and he got back to me right away and then came out first thing the next morning on a Saturday. I genuinely thought I was going to perish in this heat until Monday but NOPE… by 9am, I was already up and running again and with air that was even colder than it was before it went out. As a single woman, I’m used to different contractors using that to underestimate me to upsell on things I don’t need but there was zero of that with Ernie. In fact, quite the opposite.
